Israel Employment Equality €400,000
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to ensuring future employment opportunities will enhance occupational security in the workforce of Israel. The project purpose of this twinning contract is to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (E.E.O.C) in challenging discrimination in the workplace in line with EU best practice.
Key outputs include:
- The establishment of fully functioning mechanisms for institutional co-operation between the E.E.O.C. and main stakeholder bodies / organisations
- Training and capacity building activities designed to increase awareness of the work of the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission
- The improvement and implementation of An Equality Data collection methodology and a Legal Documentation Framework
- The design of a comprehensive Two-Year E.E.O.C. Work-Plan to be adopted for 2012- 2013
