The Twinning Project on Integrated Border Management and the Fight Against Drug Trafficking are delighted that the IBM Executive Board have today approved the IBM Strategic Assessment for 2014 and the accompanying Control Strategy for 2015. This is a ‘first’ for the Balkans and is a result of the twinning team and beneficiary working together in taking forward an Intelligence Led IBM concept. The Strategic Assessment identified the long term priorities for 2015 and the control strategy illustrates how these priorities will be addressed by each IBM Agency in terms of prevention, intelligence and enforcement. The Director of Borders on behalf of each agency congratulated the Twinning Project on the support provided.
