Support to the Eurasian Training Centre Kazakhstan EU €1m
The overall objective of the project was to contribute to the development of an effective and transparent civil service in Kazakhstan.
The specific objective of the project was to improve the civil service training and re-training system. This was achieved by setting up a brand new “Eurasian Civil Service Training Centre” in the Eurasian University in Astana. The project developed a suitable organisational and management structure for the training centre and developed training modules, training materials and training capacities for the centre.
- A training needs analysis aimed at supporting the design of curriculum for the Eurasian Training centre
- Facilitation of a training programme for the Eurasian Training Centre and regional training centres
- Compilation of (qualitative and quantitative) statistical data on the impact of the training provided by the Eurasian Training Centre (including the multiplier effects at regional level)
- A distance learning in-service training site operational for the national and sub-regional civil service employees and institutions
- An analytical paper identifying the major future development obstacles of the Eurasian Training Centre and presenting alternative solutions for solving them.
