With the support of the Twinning Project on IBM and Drugs, an information campaign on prevention was implemented, having printed and presented to the school children 400 leaflets on Heroin, 400 on Marijuana, 400 on tobacco and 400 on alcohol. Forty-four lectures were organised with the participation of around 6000 school children in public and private schools.

In addition to this project experts working with the Prevention and Cooperation Unit of the Narcotics Department produced a training manual on substance misuse and young people, this manual is now used as a foundation for the training of Community Police Officers and teachers within Kosovo.
